About Ms. Lenora

Founded in 1993, Mrs. Lenora Woods
Lee is the vision behind Spiritual Flower Birthing & Doula Services. As a teenager, Mrs. Lee recalls assisting her
friends during their pregnancies by providing prelabor and postpartum support. She became a wife and mother of four and continued
to develop her nuturing skills through trial-and-error. As life would have it, she naturally began to seek out other opportunities
to share her knowledge and experience with other young women as they began their childbearing journey.
Mrs. Lee joined a group of elderly
women who provided life coaching skills to young women. When the decision was made to no longer support women who became pregnant,
Mrs. Lee decided to continue this service by branching out on her own. She saw that young women needed somebody to support
and inspire them. She taught them that life doesn't end just because they decided to have a baby. This was the beginning of
her own ministry: Singing Bird Ministries.
As she began to realize her calling,
Mrs. Lee enrolled in two nursing programs to be trained as a midwife. As she began to finetune her skills, a male client from
another one of her businesses began to share his experiences using a Doula with his wife's pregnancy. Being the inquisitive
person that she is, Mrs. Lee approached the Doula Center to get more information and made a leap of faith decision to end
her nursing training and embark on another journey -- becoming a Doula! (In addition to her nursing, gardening, iridology,
Reiki II, marriage mentoring and holistic medicine woman training.) This journey has led her to serving a diverse group of clients from
various backgrounds but they all share the same goal: wanting someone who would hold them, care for them and show them the
way once the child made its entry into the world. Lenora
feels life is about living what you know just let it all flow. Eat what you grow, wear what you sew, dance and create; then,
build where you can serve others. She believes in natural living, giving, singing and birthing. Ms. Lenora is a bird who sings
her song out loud for all of humanity to hear.

Since 1994, Mrs. Lee has supported
over 40 women with their pregnancies. She looks forward to serving new clients and providing spiritual and emotional
support to mothers-to-be, fathers-to-be as well as other family members.
